Jonathan D. Kravitz, Esq. is a Senior Associate at Shapiro Law Group, PC. He received his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School and his Bachelor of Arts from Boston University. While practicing, Jonathan is currently enrolled as a student at Boston University School of Law as he is seeking a Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M in Taxation) degree.
As a law student, Jonathan participated in the Civil and Judicial Internship Program. This allowed Jonathan to get hands-on legal experience, as a law clerk at various Boston firms, while he earned his degree. In conjunction with his studies and internships, Jonathan was a proud member of his law school’s Phi Alpha Delta fraternity, a professional legal fraternity, where he had an opportunity to make valuable contributions to his community.
Prior to joining Shapiro Law Group, Jonathan interned for the Honorable Dennis J. Curran at the Middlesex County Superior Court. This was an extremely rewarding experience that allowed him to gain the perspective of various civil and criminal cases from “behind the bench.” In addition to his judicial internship, Jonathan practiced at a civil litigation firm in Downtown Boston where continued to develop and strengthen his advocacy skills.
Prior to law school, Jonathan interned at the Office of the Attorney General Martha Coakley. Here, he assisted in the Division’s mediation program designed to help consumers in disputes relating to unfair and deceptive practices in the insurance and lending industries.
Jonathan is admitted to practice before the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Jonathan is a member of several professional organizations, including the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Boston Bar Association.
During his free time, Jonathan enjoys spending time with family and friends, physical fitness of all kinds and continuing his legal education.
